mercedes fernánadez’s work deals with the body as function, using and seeing the body differently as presented normally in everyday life. Mercedes draws inspiration from the silliness and absurdness of life, stemming from the use of our bodies systematically and practically.
mercedes is currently studying at The New School for her MFA in photography. She already holds a B.S. in audio technology and computer science, in which she uses her spare time to create digital synthesizers and audio plug-ins.
